Figueira da Foz guests
Under the skies of Figueira II
Hello, Figueira!
You are still beautiful. It’s great to be here.
It’s November, and the city is happy and well cared for, and visitors mingle with residents in cafés, on the streets and on the beaches.

Who visits Figueira?
All are special guests

You Figueira, are “one of the most appealing tourist destinations in Portugal, the result of your patrimonial, cultural, historical and natural heritage” 1, says the Figueira da Foz Tourism Center. Your visitors are Portuguese from the south and north, but there are those from outside the country, and they come from afar. Most return, Figueira, because you delight everyone.

Comfort, safety and leisure
Some guests arrive tired, yet anxious to meet you, Figueira. Remember the cyclists who traveled for days, coming from Northern Europe, making the whole journey by bicycle? They were rejoicing in the achievement and all they needed was a good shower and some rest.
They open the door, and a beautiful orchid welcomed them while two glasses and a Portuguese wine bottle invited them in. A hammock creeped up on the porch … and the sea, outside, awaited the visit. This is you, Figueira da Foz.
